The main task of a technical supervision engineer at construction sites is to control: the quality of the work performed, compliance of the performed work with the project documentation, the volume of materials used, etc. (the entire list of duties is regulated by Resolution No. 903 dated July 11, 2007). An engineer who has the appropriate qualification certificate can provide technical supervision services. The cost of services is regulated by the “DIRECTION on determining the cost of construction” and is approximately 1% of the cost of the construction object, but the real cost is determined by the contract, which stipulates all the conditions of cooperation. The signature of the technical supervision engineer, in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, has legal force (the technical supervision engineer bears criminal responsibility for the authenticity of the signed documents).
