The inspection of buildings and structures can be carried out by a qualified civil engineer who has received the appropriate qualification certificate of a construction expert. Most often, inspections of buildings and structures are carried out in order to determine the actual technical condition of their structures and the possibility of safe operation of the object as intended. Based on an expert opinion, a decision is made about the need for repair or reconstruction of the building. However, the examination is also carried out with the aim of:
• Issuance of building passport
• Conducting an audit of completed construction works
• Identifying the causes of defects, cracks, heat loss, humidity, etc.
• Determining the technical condition of the real estate object before its purchase
• Determining the quality of the completed construction works before signing the Act of acceptance and transfer of the apartment between the Customer and the Developer
The cost of the works is determined in accordance with the “Instructions for determining the cost of carrying out works on the assessment of the technical condition and operational suitability of construction objects” and is agreed upon by the parties upon signing the contract. The minimum cost of an expert opinion is UAH 6,000.
